New Career

Update: Now that it's April 2nd, I can say that this was my semi-weak attempt at an April Fool's day joke. :-)

It has been a great ride in the security industry, but all good things must come to an end.

When I first started out, there were vulnerabilities everywhere. No one patched, and the last thing on people's minds was worrying about how someone could get into their websites.

Nowadays, security is better than ever. The web is reasonably secure thanks to Web Application Firewalls and XSS filters in browsers. And web scanners and source code review tools have become so advanced that skilled analysis isn't even required anymore!! Even Flash is pretty damn secure. There really isn't much left to do.

I'll be announcing my new business venture in the near future.
